Crystal Skulls

There are many theories and much conjecture about what Crystal Skulls actually are, where their origins lie and what role they have for Humankind. Here are my own personal views with some further references to help you research further into the subject, if you wish to!

Some theories maintain that there are 13 Crystal Skulls which are ‘hidden’ worldwide and are waiting to be rediscovered. It is most often claimed that the origin of Crystal Skulls lies in Atlantis, where they were created as repositories of vast technological and spiritual knowledge. I will ‘nail my colours to the mast’ here, and say that I am of this belief. Certainly I feel that there have been many civilisations which pre date what ‘history’ acknowledges. In fact, I believe that what we find in ancient civilisations such as those of The Mayan and Egyptian  have evidence of a much diluted knowledge handed down many times removed from survivors of much older and destroyed cultures. One example of such evidence which never fails to fascinate me are the Pyramids which are found at both Giza in Egypt and Teotihuacan in Mexico. They have the same alignments, positioning and sizes:

Ÿ  The Pyramid of The Moon in Mexico corresponds in alignment to the Pyramid of Menkaure in Egypt

Ÿ  The Pyramid of The Sun in Mexico corresponds directly to The Pyramid of Khafre in Egypt

Ÿ  The Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl in Mexico corresponds directly to The Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt.

The three also correspond in size and all three use their land positions to mirror Orion’s Belt in the star system. There are many such ‘co incidences’ to be found in Sacred Geometry throughout the world. This is an exhaustive subject which I will not attempt to explore here, as I wish to concentrate on Crystal Skulls. However, I would ask this question- what led two great civilisations, many centuries and miles apart to replicate these great structures in such a precise and exact way? What was the purpose of the connection to Orion’s Belt?

I feel that both were using prior knowledge from survivors of somewhere much older. I also feel that this ‘older’ civilisation is where we find the origin of Crystal Skulls…………………………

So why would these repositories of knowledge from an ancient civilisation be made of crystal and be in the shape of skulls?

For one- as we know very well from our present day usage, crystals contain energy which can be harnessed to power appliances. Watches, computers all use the power of quartz crystal- this is a fact.

The use of a skull as a shape is significant. It is recognisably human. It is at first sight without gender, it is without race with the flesh stripped from it.

All of us as Humankind can relate to a skull formation.

My friend and colleague, the renowned psychic channeller and skull expert Edwin Courtenay once memorably said that a Crystal Spleen wouldn’t have quite the same impact! I found this not only a refreshingly funny viewpoint, but also very true!

So, What and where are the most famous examples of these mysterious and wonderful Crystal Skulls ?

To begin, one of the most famous ( if not THE most famous ) of Crystal Skulls is the ‘Mitchell Hedges’ Skull. This is so named as it was discovered/unearthed in 1926 by Anna  Mitchell-Hedges, daughter of the archaeologist  F. A Mitchell Hedges

                                        skull2

Surviving Mayan told Anna Mitchell-Hedges that the skull had been made over

‘Five generations or more’ and that it had been used in ceremonies ‘to bring death’ by Mayan Priests. Whilst I feel that the skull is significantly older than the ‘five generations’ claimed, we are surrounded by a vast array of evidence which shows that the skull as a paradigm, a tool, a ceremonial object and a great touchstone of faith and culture is prevalent in both Mayan and Aztec civilisations and others of the Mesoamericas.

Interestingly, there was an examination of the skull in 1970 at the Hewlett Packard laboratories in the U.S.A. It was found that the skull had been carved from a single piece of pure crystalline quartz, that no evidence of machine or metal tool marks were to be found and that the skull had been carved against the natural grain of the crystal, which should have caused the crystal to shatter. The Hewlett Packard Scientific Team could not readily explain how the skull was made and they could certainly not explain why!

There are other famous examples of Crystal Skulls to be found.( among many!) One of the most famous belonged to the well known writer and researcher Nick Nocerino and is called ‘Sha- Na- Ra’ Another is owned by the equally well known Jo Ann Parks  and is called ’Max’ ( I will explain why the skulls are named further on in this page) In 1996, the B.B.C  and Everyman Productions were making a programme on Crystal Skulls with the co operation of the British Museum.  Tests were carried out to determine the age of the carving methods used. Along with Sha Na Ra and Max, skulls from Museums worldwide- such as the British Museum Skull and the Skull at the Paris Museum of Man- were tested using electron microscopes.  The British Museum and Paris Skulls were rather controversial as they were shown to be 19th century carved skulls .The methods of carving used for Sha Na Ra and Max were shown to be over 5000 years old. This brings me to my  point- a very dearly heId belief derived from personal experience. ANY Crystal Skull, whether it is proven to be ancient, a 19th century carving or a skull which is produced in a modern workshop by a skilled craftsperson contains a consciousness.  This is why skulls are named. By the use of psychic methodology such as psychometry, scrying or channelling , the consciousness which wishes to inhabit the skull will communicate it’s ‘name’.

In my personal opinion, If one wishes to try to communicate with higher consciousnesses which choose to inhabit Crystal Skulls- this is possible and of great benefit to us. In

the next link, Crystal Skull Channelings. I will explain more.
